Over the last years until its initial public pass in 200 6, RSE has been faring well in the UK Stock Exchange market -- trading at 233p per share, and maintaining a decent profit margin. It had also significantly improved its trade name image -- the company is increasingly acknowledged. In fact, its owner and founder, Richard Shaw, was recognized as the Businessman of the Year by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) in 2000. The company went public by the year 2006, and it has remained competitive in spite of the recession, and the high costs involved with the organizations trading operations. At present, RSE is situated in dissimilar locations, namely Maidstone (Kent), Rome, Paris, as well as in Lagos, Nigeria. It is currently operating in two main trading strands (1) buy and sell, and customization of shop fixtures, fittings, business machines, and other company equipment, and (2) auctioning of bankrupt office equipment, fixtures, and fittings. To top it all, RSE is equipped with technologically innovative information systems.
